DUBLIN (September 1, 2017) — It was a one-possession game until the fourth quarter, and Dublin even led for a stretch of the first half, but in the end it was the pupil – Randy Thornton – who celebrated victory over the master – his coach when he was a kid, Bob Cervetto – as Hico won, 23-8. Good game between local rivals and a good win to begin the Thornton era of Hico Tiger football.
