Dublin grad Brayden Burleson named to area FCA staff

STEPHENVILLE (October 23, 2017) – The Fellowship of Christian Athletes is thrilled to announce Brayden Burleson, of Dublin Tx, as the newest staff member of Cross Timbers Area FCA.

As an FCA Staffer, Burleson will be serving the Cross Timbers Area school campuses, coaches, and the sports teams at Tarleton State University. Burleson joins Ciara Dittfurth of Stephenville as Cross Timbers FCA part-time staff and will be under the supervision of Area Representative, Carrie Normand.

“Brayden will be a great addition to our team because he comes from an athletic background and has a passion for serving God. Brayden will be a great role model to our male athletes”

About his new position, Burleson stated, “I have been involved in FCA leadership since 2014 and when I decided to attend Tarleton, I knew I wanted to continue my work with FCA. Sharing the gospel with athletes and coaches has become second-nature to me so I think this is a perfect fit.”

Burleson is a 2017 graduate of Dublin High School where he was an honors students and played football, basketball and baseball for the Lions. He was a member of the National Honors Society and a 4-year leader of the FCA Huddle. Brayden is attending Tarleton State University in the Honors Program and working towards an Engineering Degree. Burleson’s family include: Parents-Erik and Sylvia Burleson, Siblings-Emily Burleson and Laramie Burleson, Grandparents: Jean Gilbert Parham, Carroll and Beth Parham, Rue and Steve Taylor, John Joel and Cerelle Burleson and Great Grandmother Marionell Frizzell all from the Dublin, De Leon, Bluff Dale, Stephenville areas.
