Stephenville Honeybee outfielder Jessica Ebeling and shortstop Madison Gilder have been invited to take part in the Fellowship of Christian Athletes All-Star softball game in June.
Both players were all-district first-team selections last year with Ebeling’s defensive play, hustle and a .315 batting average drawing the attention of Pratt Community College where she has already signed a letter of intent to play.
“I’m so proud of “Jeb” (Ebeling) and “Madi”(Gilder) for their selection to the FCA All-Star game,” Coach Rus Mayes said. “Both are very deserving and it will be a special experience put on by a great organization.”
Gilder’s playing shortstop already testifies to her defensive skills and speed. Last season, Gilder stroked in 20 RBI with five doubles and was 16-of-18 on stolen bases. She was also a first-team all-district selection in 2018.
