Several hundred, maybe more, attended the Chief Deputy Cody Keith Benefit at Bull Nettle on Sunday afternoon. There was a variety of events and stuff designed to help Cody Keith with his accumulating medical and travel expenses. Cody has been fighting a rare form of cancer called nasopharyngeal for over three years. There was a BBQ meal served for a donation, raffles, silent auctions and live music by the Calamity Janes. The event lasted until 7 p.m. As the pictures show, the event was very well attended. Thanks to all who came out to help one of our very own, Cody Keith. Further donations will still be accepted by contacting the Erath County Sheriff’s Office.
