Wansyl Hudson Logan, 92, a devoted disciple of Christ, and loving wife and mother, went home to be with Jesus on Saturday, April 15, 2023.  Prior to making her home in Cedar Creek, Texas, she lived in Kermit, Texas for 46 years and Dublin, Texas for 23 years.  

Wansyl was born on February 10, 1931, in Stamford, Texas and married Bob Logan on July 3, 1949, in Dublin, Texas.  They celebrated 57 years of marriage before the Lord called Bob home on January 15, 2006.  Wansyl was also preceded in death by her parents:  George and Stella Hudson and her three brothers, Milford, Herschell and Bob Hudson.  She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law Kay and Richard Goertz of Cedar Creek, Texas, her son and daughter-in-law Larry and Terry Logan of Cedar Creek, Texas and her son and daughter-in-law Gary and Michele Logan of San Antonio, Texas.  She is survived by 9 grandchildren:  Jacqueline, Brandon, Brent, Traci, Joe, Lance, Joe Kyle, Brittany and Lexi along with 11 great-grandchildren:  Hailey, Trey, Avery, Jackson, Maggie, Smith, Carter, Koby, Dylan, Peyton and Rhya. 

Wansyl worked part-time at the Kermit Elementary School cafeteria for 12 years and for the Kermit newspaper for 17 years.  During those years, she enjoyed the love of family as she supported and encouraged them in their many activities and adventures.  Her numerous hobbies included traveling, gardening, fishing, sewing, painting and crafts.  She loved family and life to the fullest and was always ready for a new adventure with a sweet smile on her face.   

After she and Bob retired, they moved back to Dublin, Texas in 1997 where they enjoyed a full and happy life with family and friends.  She continued to maintain their beautiful home on 3 acres and faithfully served her church family for 14 years after Bob died.  But in 2020, she had to say goodbye to her beloved home, church and friends to continue her final years on XII Oaks Ranch in Cedar Creek surrounded by her beloved children.  

A Celebration of her Life will be held at Harrell Funeral Home in Dublin, Texas on Friday, April 21, 2023, at 11 am.  Pastor Gerald Freeman will officiate.  Interment will follow at Cow Creek Cemetery, where she will be laid to rest with her husband and many of her relatives.
