Steven Darryl Turner, born in Arlington, Texas on December 5, 1964 to parents Jack and Kay (Gordon) Turner, passed away on July 24, 2023 in Fort Worth, Texas at age 58. Steven was known as “Pops” was married to his high school sweetheart of 40 years, loved his family and friends, coaching his children, fishing and loved Jesus. The light of Steven’s world were his seven grandchildren of which he loved and adored.
Preceding Steven death were his parents Jack and Kay Turner.
Steven is survived by his wife Deniece Turner; daughter Ashley Johnson and husband Tyler; sons, Austin Turner and wife Leah, Addison Turner and wife Rachel; grandchildren Ainsley Johnson, Kennedy Turner, Ansen Turner, Lane Turner, Alivia Turner, Saylor Turner and Averly Turner. Also surviving Steven are siblings Susan Smith, Sharon Stephenson and Zane Turner and a host of extended family members and friends.
Visitation 12:30pm until services 2:00pm, Friday, January 28, 2023 at Fairy Baptist Church with burial to follow at Fairy Cemetery.
