Henry Wuemling, 88, passed away on March 2, 2025, in Hico, Texas. Born on May 31, 1936, 10 miles outside of San Angelo, Texas at a little place called Midway to Hans and Rosa Feil Wuemling.

He attended elementary school in San Angelo, Texas and Robert E. Lee Junior High. He and his family moved to Fairy, Texas on December 26, 1950, where he attended Fairy High School. Henry worked for 15 months for Ogle Bros. Gas Station. He worked for 9 years for Barnes & McCullough Lumber Company. He then worked for TxDOT in Glen Rose, Texas for 3 years. He worked for W.K. Gordon Ranch near Walnut Springs. Then Henry managed Quail Run Ranch for 6 years before moving back to Hico. He then started working for TxDOT in Stephenville, Texas where he retired on May 31, 2001, after 22 years. Henry also had a small family Dairy he worked at for a few years while working at TxDOT.

Henry married Ella Louise Parton November 21, 1959, in Fort Worth, Texas. She preceded him in death on May 25, 2014. Together they had two sons, Curtis Wuemling and Roger Wuemling.

Henry is survived by his two sons Curtis Wuemling, who never married and Roger Wuemling and his wife Alisa Griffin Wuemling, granddaughter Staci Wuemling McClammy and husband Mike McClammy, great-granddaughter Amelia Sue McClammy. One brother Joe Wuemling and wife Jean Brown Wuemling of Grandview, Texas.

Visitation 6-8pm, Monday, March 3, 2025, at Harvest Hills Funeral Home. Graveside services 2:00pm, Tuesday, March 4, 2025, at Hico, Cemetery with Rev. Neil Wade Officiating.
