Sport: (November 24, 2014) — Stephenville continues to shine defensively and remains unbeaten.
The Honeybees (3-0) were balanced offensively and tenacious defensively to hand Granbury (2-1) its first loss, 45-27, at Gandy Gym Monday.

Six days after burying a 3-pointer at the buzzer to lift Stephenville past Aledo, Breanna Wooley went 3-4 from the arc for a team-best nine points, but she had plenty of help. Bayleigh Chaviers and Kali Smith each scored eight, Lyndi Graham netted seven, Cassidy Cline and Lariat Larner each had five and Skylar Chipman contributed three.
Stephenville didn’t exactly light it up by shooting 36.6 percent, but the Bees limited Granbury to just 21.4 percent.
The Bees will be tested by 3A stalwart Comanche on Tuesday. They visit the Maidens at 4:30 p.m. and will be followed by the Yellow Jackets against the Indians at 6 p.m.
