STEPHENVILLE (January 22, 2015) — A Texas High School Rodeo Association Region III finals qualifying event is set for Friday through Sunday at Lone Star Arena.
Competitors earn points through the regional qualifying series in order to qualify for the Region III finals on March 20, from where the top 10 advance to the state finals in May.
The cutting competition kicks off the event at 7 p.m. Friday, with rough stock events starting at 8 a.m. Saturday. Steer wrestling and roping events begin at 8 a.m. Sunday.
Also included is a Saturday evening church service and jackpot team roping, beginning at 6 p.m.
