STEPHENVILLE (October 7, 2015) – Aly Coughlin‘s impressive resume continues to grow during her senior campaign as she was named the Lone Star Conference Runner of the Week for the second time this season.
Coughlin led the TexAnns once again by coming in 14th place with a time of 16:57.92 in the 5K course at the 27th annual Chile Pepper Festival last weekend. It’s a career-best time for the senior in the 5K, as she has improved her time each meet and finished as Tarleton’s top runner all three meets.
Coughlin and the TexAnns will return to action on Tuesday, Oct. 13 at the Angelo State Blue and Gold Classic as they gear up for the Lone Star Conference Championships hosted by Tarleton on Oct. 26.
