(February 3, 2016) — Stephenville FAITH simply refused to lose, even when the Lady Knights were down to just three players.

Finishing three-on-five, the Lady Knights managed a stunning 41-40 win over Granbury Cornerstone last week, riding O19 points from Olivia Harris and 12 by Dawna Aranda into the winning circle.

“They were pressing even when we were down to three players, but beating their press is how we won,” commented head coach Jaynelle Nowell.

It’s the second time this season the shorthanded Lady Knights – there are only five players on the active roster – have won despite finishing with less than five players on the court.
